After months of preparation, weeks of competition and an electrifying awards dinner, winners in the seventh annual Donald W. Reynolds Governor’s Cup business plan competition didn’t celebrate too long. The top two teams in both the graduate and undergraduate divisions quickly regrouped, fine-tuned their business plans and polished their oral presentations in preparation for next month’s Tri-State competition in Las Vegas. The four Oklahoma teams will put their plans up against teams from Arkansas and Nevada in a one-day competition on May 25 with $90,000 on the line. It may be Vegas, but the Oklahoma teams won’t leave anything to chance…they plan to bring home all the Tri-State cash!
