As a communications specialist, Jim support’s i2E’s mission by helping clients tell their stories with written materials, news releases and Web and blog posts.

Jim previously held the position of senior business writer with The Oklahoman, the state’s largest newspaper. Most recently, his beats focused on technology, biotechnology, health care and telecommunications. Jim’s career at The Oklahoman spanned more than two decades and included tenure as the Business News Editor, as well as the newspaper’s agriculture writer in the mid-1990s. His writing was honored with recognition from the Associated Press and Society of Professional Journalists, as well as the Oklahoma Farm Bureau and the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association.

Jim earned his BA in journalism at Abilene Christian University and previously worked at the Southwest Times Record in Fort Smith, Ark. He also served as associate director of public relations at Oklahoma Christian University.
